Shipping Policy
At Melt Chocolates, we take pride in the quality of our products. In order to assure that your chocolates reach their destination safely, we have created the following shipping policy.
Order Processing
All orders will be processed within 48 hours of placement. After placing your order, you will receive an email confirming that your order was placed. Once your order is processed, you will receive a second email with tracking information once a shipping label has been created. Please note that we only ship Monday and Tuesday but create labels 7 days a week. To avoid confusion, please pay attention to your tracking information provided by your tracking number link.
In Store Pick Up
Due to the high demand of our in store products, we do not reserve products online for in store pickup. We will try very hard to keep all products in stock and will have our team in place to help you locate your products when you arrive. In order to protect our customers, we cannot take credit cards over the phone to reserve products. All purchases must be made in person on a first come, first serve basis.
Available Shipping Options
Express (year-round)
Available for shipping Monday - Thursday
Express Rates: UPS provides a pass through rate directly to our customers. This rate will depend on dimensions, weight, and location of delivery.
Standard (October - April)
Available for shipping Monday - Wednesday to all eligible zip codes. If your zip code is eligible then the standard option will automatically appear during checkout.
Please note that we cannot ship standard to Florida, Arizona, Hawaii, and southern California. If you are shipping to those areas, you will be prompted to select Express delivery as your only option in order to protect our products from melting.
Standard Rates: UPS provides a pass through rate directly to our customers. This rate will depend on dimensions, weight, and location of delivery. Standard rates are slightly higher if shipping to a residence due to UPS's residential surcharge.
Any orders placed after 5:00pm CT on Tuesday will be processed and shipped out the following Monday.
All shipping options refer to business days only, we do not offer Saturday delivery.
Holiday Shipping
Melt Chocolates does not ship the following days:
- New Year's Day
- Memorial Day
- July 4th
- Labor Day
- Day before Thanksgiving
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Eve
- Christmas Day
