At Melt Chocolates, we take pride in the quality of our products. In order to assure that your chocolates reach their destination safely, we have created the following shipping policy.
General Shipping Information
Same day shipping is not offered. Our daily cutoff time for a next day shipment is 4:00 PM CT.
Our website currently ships to U.S addresses only and does not ship to P.O boxes. Please ensure all shipping address information is correct and that you have provided a street address, company name, suite or apartment number when applicable to ensure proper delivery. A fee of $25 will be required to modify a shipping address once the package has been shipped.
We strongly recommend you review your order before it is submitted as we can not modify or make changes to an order after it is submitted.
All orders will be processed within 48 hours of placement. After placing your order, you will receive an email confirming that your order was placed. Once your order is processed, you will receive a second email with tracking information once a shipping label has been created. Please note that we only ship Monday and Tuesday but create labels 7 days a week. To avoid confusion, please pay attention to your tracking information provided by your tracking number link.
In Store Pick Up
We're excited to announce that we now offer in-store pickup for all our valued customers! To better serve you, orders placed online can be conveniently picked up at our store during business hours. Please note that due to the high demand for our products, we do not reserve items for in-store pickup prior to purchase. All orders are processed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
If you place an order during our non-business hours, rest assured it will be ready for pickup on the next day we are open. We strive to have orders filled within 4 hours of receipt, ensuring a swift and efficient pickup experience. Please remember, to safeguard our customers, we cannot accept credit card payments over the phone to reserve items. All purchases must be completed online or in person.
Available Shipping Options
Standard 2 Day (October - April)
Available for shipping Monday - Wednesday to all eligible zip codes in the lower 48 states. If your zip code is eligible then the standard option will automatically appear during checkout.
Standard Rates: FedEx provides a pass through rate directly to our customers. This rate will depend on dimensions, weight, and location of delivery. Standard rates are slightly higher if shipping to a residence due to FedEx's residential surcharge.
Yes! We offer international shipping. Before placing your order, please email us with the detailed information so we can check rates and options.
Melt Chocolates is not responsible for failed deliveries when:
- Customer provided an incorrect/outdated address
- Recipient is not available to receive the package
- Customer does not provide a corrected/new delivery address within 24 hours of first delivery attempt
- Shipments that are returned or require rerouting due to an incorrect address will be subject to additional charges for reshipment and/or relabeling for the carrier.
- We highly recommend shipping orders to an address where the recipient will be available to receive them.
Any orders placed after 4:00pm CT on Tuesday will be processed and shipped out the following Monday.
All shipping options refer to business days only, we do not offer Saturday delivery.
Melt Chocolates does not ship the following days:
- New Year's Day and New Year's Day Observed
- Memorial Day
- July 4th and July 4th Observed
- Labor Day
- Day before Thanksgiving
- Thanksgiving Day
- Day after Thanksgiving
- Christmas Eve
- Christmas Day and Christmas Day Observed
